Central Oregon Hay Growers Association Mission Statement
The purpose of this Association shall be to promote the welfare of the hay and
forage industry in Central Oregon and to support education, youth in agriculture,
and forage research.

What COHGA does...
- Markets your hay on HAYFINDER.ORG
- Produces Central Oregon Forage Seminar in cooperation with the OSU Extension Service to provide forage educational programming and ODA pesticide recertification credits
- Provides Scholarships to Deschutes, Crook and/or Jefferson county high school graduates who study agriculture
- Supports Central Oregon Forage Research by funding local research projects
- Works as advisor with Oregon State University forage research and Extension Service programs in Oregon
- Invest annually in the Oregon Forage and Livestock Research and Extension Endowment
- Actively promotes a working relationship with ODA/EPA as forage advisor for pesticide use, organic certification, IPM and other regulated areas
- Maintain a listing of members, services and industry resources
- Welcomes all growers, supporters, and service providers regardless of location
